Englobia Travel E-Services

Welcome to Englobia Travel E-Services, member of Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, officially authorized by the Greek National Tourism Industry ("Englobia" or "We") with an internet website located at www.englobia.com (the "site"). 

By visiting the site and/or using the Englobia services available on the site, you agree to be contractually bound by all of the terms and conditions set forth below, including those available by hyperlink, whether or not you are a registered member of Englobia. We reserve the right to make changes to the Englobia services offered on this site and revise the terms and conditions and all linked information from time to time at our sole discretion.



1. Basic Information

1.1 Traveler Details

Once you complete your booking, Englobia may ask for the travelers' names, birth dates, and passport information. In the case of air tickets or other acquired services, this information is required.

1.2 Travel documents

Every traveler has the responsibility and the obligation to have the required visas and travel documents following the applicable regulations. Englobia Travel can provide information in this regard but does not have any responsibility. It remains the client's responsibility to ensure that these documents are in order and meet any additional costs incurred due to failure to comply with such requirements.

1.3 Airline tickets

Our Packages do not include airline tickets unless mentioned on the "What's Included" session.

1.4 Hotels

The hotels included on our website are hand-picked among the best options in each category. They have daily breakfast and taxes unless otherwise noted. Englobia reserves the right to update its platform information, with a notice period of 90 days, regarding changes of taxes and applicable fees at each destination. Additionally, after informing the passenger, it reserves the right for organizational reasons to modify its programs and hotels and replace them with similar features.

1.5 Transfers

As defined in the itineraries, they may include assistance and/or transportation. Our vacation packages include airport transfers; thus, make sure to provide us with your flight details (date of flight, flight number, arrival time) up to 10 days before your arrival. An Englobia representative will pick you up, holding an Englobia sign or your name at the airport. Airport transfer/s are only available if stated under the “Inclusions” section of your selected tour.

1.6 Meals

As specified under "What's Included" on each tour.

1.7 Luggage

Passengers can carry a handbag up to 8kg and a standard size case, with a maximum of up to 23kg in all our buses and means of transportation.

All flights booked by Englobia, unless otherwise noted, include a bag and a handbag per person, in harmony with the size and weight allowed by the airline company operating the segment or flight.

1.8 Tours and sightseeings

Transportation is carried out on air-conditioned cars, minivans, and buses, driven by professional drivers, with local, itinerant, or licensed tour guides, depending on the tour.

1.9 What's not included in the price of the tours

Travel insurance, hotel taxes, international flights, airport taxes, passport expenses, visa expenses, laundry service expenditure, telephone expenses, drinks, meals not included in the itineraries, gratuities of any kind (non-compulsory), personal matters, baggage excess, or transportation fees, optional tours or tours not included during cruises, unless otherwise stated under "What's Included".

1.10 Sole Travelers & Single Rooms

Englobia Travel cannot set any shared accommodation in hotels during mainland tours. We could provide shared accommodation on cruises after a request and upon availability. Costs for single passengers reflect rooms and cabins in single occupancy.

2. Prices and Payments

2.1 Prices

All prices are subject to change without prior notice in the event of increases in hotel taxes and fees, a cruise of operators, currency change, and/or fuel charges.

2.2 Discounts and policy for children and infants

Englobia reserves the right to charge additional fees upon arrival at the destination in case the traveler or client has intentionally or unintentionally omitted the correct birth dates or age of minors at the moment of booking the tour. Passenger accepts having disclosed the proper and correct date of birth or age of the children or infants at the moment of traveling. 

2.3 Deposits and payments

A deposit of €600 per person, per package, or full prepayment for packages with a cost of less than €300 per person, is necessary within seven days of the booking process. Suppose your booking does not meet the above conditions. In that case, you will be notified about your sales adviser's exact payment to be made. In all cases, if the deposit is not received as requested, the booking will be canceled automatically. The cardholder must pay the total amount up to 31 days before the arrival. Every booking received in less than 31 days before the start of your travel must be born in total.

When paying for his/her services or on behalf of someone else, the credit cardholder understands and accepts that the transactions are made remotely without the physical presence of the credit card in our offices. These charges may be completed online, in written or by telephone by the client or cardholder him or herself. A grace period is granted to the credit card owner to inform us in writing about the non-acceptance of the charges and may subsequently request the reimbursement of the payment.



3. Insurance and Special Requirements

3.1 Travel insurance

Unless otherwise specified under the "What's Included" section, travel insurance is not included. It is highly recommended to purchase one. Protect your trip, health, and well-being before and during your trip. Health and Cancellation Insurances are available during the booking process. Health and Cancellation insurances are available for all products n of two (2) or more days of duration. Please contact us directly if you would like to get a quote for any product that lasts less than two (2) days.

3.2 Health issues

Any impairment, physical or mental, that requires attention or treatment must be revealed at the moment of booking. Englobia is a travel agency that facilitates and welcomes travelers with special needs.

3.3 Dietary and Special Requirements

You must note all your dietary needs at the time of booking. Although many of our tours accommodate vegetarians and vegans, we cannot guarantee that someone can meet special dietary requirements in all places. We cannot take responsibility for any such requirements not being fulfilled. Suppose you have a medical condition or require specific arrangements to affect your trip. In that case, we ask that you inform us in writing at the time of booking. Suppose we cannot reasonably accommodate your particular needs. In that case, we may decline the booking or request and ask for you to be accompanied by a person who can provide full assistance throughout your trip.



4. Cancellations

4.1 Cancellations - Reimbursements

Any modification of the services or the travel date up to 21 days before the beginning of the services will not incur cancellation fees, except if the new provided dates have a rate difference. If the new arrival date is cheaper than the original one, Englobia Travel will refund the difference. If your selected product includes an air ticket, the publicly known charges originated from such amendment will indeed be charged to the traveler.

According to the official Greek working calendar, all cancellations must be submitted in writing by email and effective the next working day.

4.1.1 Cancelation Policy 1

Free Cancellation up to 31 days before arrival:

You will not be charged any fee for any cancelation up to 31 days before your arrival. 

Englobia should collect cancellation expenses in advance, according to the following table:

30-15 days before your arrival: 35% of the total Price

14-08 days before your arrival: 50% of the total Price

7-0 days before your arrival or in case of passenger's no-show: 100% of the total price.

4.1.2 Cancelation Policy 2

Free Cancellation up to 31 days before arrival, except for air-tickets

For any cancelation up to 31 days before your arrival, you will only be charged the cost of the air tickets. 

Airline tickets included in these programs are non-refundable and incur 100% cancellation fees from the first moment of your booking. In case of modification of dates, airline companies' charges will apply.

4.1.4 Cancelation Policy 4

4.1.5 Cancelation Policy 5

Free Cancellation up to 48 hours

For any cancelation up to 48 hours before the departure of your tour, you will not be charged any fee. 

For any cancelation in less than 48 hours before your departure or non-show, the product is non-refundable.

4.1.6 Cancelation Policy 6

Free Cancellation up to 31 days before the departure/activity date.

You will not be charged any fee for any cancelation up to 31 days before your arrival. 

Englobia should collect cancellation expenses in advance, according to the following table:

30-9 days before your departure/activity date: 50% of the total Price

8-0 days before your departure/activity date or in case of passenger's no-show: 100% of the total price.

4.2 Optional Flights:

Any optional flight acquired on our website or our travel advisors is non-refundable and incurs 100% cancellation fees from the first moment of your booking.

​Travel safely by purchasing Cancellation Insurance which covers 100% of the price in the event of hospitalization of the policyholder or a direct relative, death, or other unexpected occurrences.

Any reimbursements will be made directly to the same payment method of the initial purchase within 72 hours.


 

5. Customer Service

5.1 Personalized attention

Englobia Travel e-services officially work from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm local time Greece, year-round, apart from the Greek public holidays. A 24/7 emergency line is available for all our travelers' assistance, ready to solve any inconveniences they may have. We will disregard incidents not reported to us in writing by the travelers during the travel.



6. Liability

6.1 Limitation of liability

Englobia Travel e-services, known as the tour operator and/or its representatives, acts only as an agent for the transport company or other businesses. The liability of the tour operators and/or their proprietors is limited. Tour operators and/or their agents will not be held responsible in the event of a breakdown, loss, accident, disease, delay, or any irregularity in any vehicles used for the transportation, or any happening induced by any action of the employees or company in charge of the organization of the transportation. Tour operators and/or their representatives are not responsible for any consular, political, or military issues that may be caused, voluntarily or involuntarily, by the passenger or any other person. The operator is not liable for the actions or carelessness of the hotel owner or its employees. Englobia Travel reserves the right to decline, accept or withhold any person, change or cancel tours, if necessary, for any reason, including lack of payment, and notify the local authorities.

6.2 Privacy Policy

Englobia needs to collect specific personal details from you to process your booking. Please read our Privacy Policy for detailed information. These details will usually include the names and addresses of party members, credit/debit or other payment details, and special requirements such as those relating to any disability or medical condition that may impact the vacation arrangements. We must give some information to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements (hotels, transport companies, etc.). Englobia will only deal with the personal information you provide to us as detailed in our Privacy Policy unless you agree otherwise. We may contact you or members of your holiday party by post, email, or telephone for the purposes set out. We will also use your information to inform you of offers in the future or send you brochures only after your consent. If you wish to opt out of our newsletter, you can click on the link in any of our emails or reach us at welcome@englobia.com. When the clients submit the review form, they accept that the feedback and all rights therein become the sole property of Englobia and that Englobia shall have the right to make it available to the public on this website and for any purpose and in any media (including for advertising or other commercial use).

6.3 Itinerary Changes

It may be necessary, occasionally at short notice, to make changes to an itinerary due to weather, traffic, or road conditions. Regrettably, buses, trains, vessels do sometimes break down or suffer mechanical or technical difficulties, or certain facilities on a bus or train or ship may become faulty. Every effort will be made to fix such issues as quickly as feasible. In some cases, replacing the vehicle or boat may be required, which cannot be repaired. We cannot accept any responsibility for delays caused by any form of breakdown.

6.4 Dispute resolution & severability

For any dispute that may occur, responsible are the courts of Athens, Greece. 

Suppose any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid or unenforceable. In that case, that provision will be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent possible, and the remainder of the letter will have full force and effect. 

Any booking request applies the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions mentioned above.
